GURGAON: The maximum temperature in the city on Tuesday was recorded at 35.4 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 28.6 degrees.
According to the IMD, the city is likely to witness cloudy skies and humid weather for the next two days. Thunderstorms or lightning at isolated places is also expected between August 23 and 28.
The maximum temperature is likely to remain in the range of 35 to 36 degrees Celsius. The humidity was at 96%.
Monsoon showers in August so far have not been as generous as they were in the previous months.
The overall data shows that the city still received 9% more than the normal rainfall from June 1 till now and the state has received a 20% surplus so far. On Sunday, the city’s air quality index (AQI) was in the ‘moderate’ category, with the reading at 135.
