NEW DELHI: Two seers from Ayodhya sat on fast unto death after they were stopped from entering Haryana‘s Nuh, on Monday.
The administration has imposed section 144 following the call for a ‘Shobha Yatra‘ in the district.

Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya is among the two seers from Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya who have sat on an indefinite hunger strike after they were allegedly stopped at the Sohna toll plaza .
“I have come here from Ayodhya…The administration has stopped us here, they are not allowing us to move ahead nor they are allowing us to go back. So I am doing fast until death. If they (the administration) will shift me somewhere else, I will do fast until death there also,” says Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya Maharaj.

“We had brought the soil of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi and the Jal of Saryu river to pay homage to the Bajrang Dal workers who were killed and were to return after performing Jalabhishek with the Jal of Saryu river,” reported ANI quoting Acharya Maharaj.
Meanwhile, security has been tightened in Haryana’s Nuh following the call for a ‘Shobha Yatra’ in the district on, despite authorities denying permission for the procession.
This follows the decision of the VHP to go ahead with its Braj Mandal Shobha Yatra today.
