A devastating fire broke out on Friday due to a short circuit in a wheelchair manufacturing company located in Sector 4 of IMT Manesar, Gurugram. The incident occurred while more than 100 employees were working in the company. Fortunately, all the employees managed to evacuate the building safely, according to a fire department official.

The fire department received a distress call at 5:15 pm and immediately dispatched a team to the site. The team deployed 12 fire tenders to extinguish the flames, which took approximately two and a half hours to completely put out.

The fire rapidly spread from the ground floor to the first, destroying machinery and goods in the plant. Unfortunately, the company suffered a significant loss in the incident, as reported by fire officer Narender Yadav.

This tragic incident highlights the importance of maintaining proper electrical safety measures and protocols in commercial establishments. It also serves as a reminder of the need for all organizations to have proper fire safety plans and drills in place to protect their employees and property in the event of an emergency.
