KARNAL: Rishita Dang of Karnal has been selected for the 39th National Senior Taekwondo Championship which will be held at Sarusajai Sports Complex in Guwahati, Assam in September this year.
Rishita, a student of BA first year (Media and Public Affairs) of Christ University in Ghaziabad, has been selected in the under 67 Girls Category.
The selection trials for the championship were held by the Haryana State Taekwondo Association in Ambala on August 25 and 26.
Rishita Dang has won gold medals in 39th Junior Kyorugi and 12th National Poomsae Taekwondo Championship 2022-23 at Visakhapatnam. Now, she will be competing in the senior category this year.
