GURGAON: Government schools in the state will remain open for an hour on Wednesday evening to telecast the Chandrayaan landing.
The higher education institutions have also been directed by the university grants commission (UGC) to organise special assemblies and live-stream the event. Chandrayaan-3 will attempt to land on the moon at 6.04pm on Wednesday. The telecast of the lunar landing will start at 5.20pm.
An official from the secondary education department said, “We have asked the school management to make all the arrangements.”
