The Himalayan

The Himalayan takes you back to the middle ages in the mountains, one of the highest spas in the Himalayas, nestled in the heart of apple and Cherry Gardens just above Manali city. Span Resort and Spa

The Span resort is situated along the riverbank on 10 acres (approximately 35 minutes driving) of the woodland between Manali and Kullu. In 2015, La Ri Sa, a five-acre apple orchard opened on the Naggar-Manali Route some 25 minutes south of Manali. Curiously called the local language inspired it. The mountains are “La,” above, and the earth is “Sa.” All combine in this shopping resort. Its rustic but modern cottages are made of wood and stone, and they all have chilly night balconies, fireplaces, and chairs. A variety of cuisines including local specialties are served in the resort’s restaurant. In the organic vegetable garden on the premises, many of the ingredients have been grown. There is a cozy bar, leisure area, library, mini theatre, a children’s playroom, bicycles, a wellness center, and an outdoor swimming pool. There are also several amenities. You never have to leave! You must never leave! Expect to pay 8,500 rupees twice a night.

Manu Allaya Resort

This popular family resort is located approximately five minutes uphill but heads towards Vashisht on the other side of the Beas River. There are 55 rooms and suites in eight categories, including duplexes suitable for children. Many rooms feature an exceptional mountain and river view on private balconies. A pool and spa with diverse entertainment, plus three restaurants and a bar, also feature a variety of leisure activities. The vast garden of the resort is well-preserved and walks around the property are possible. Prices for the double bed, including breakfast and dinner, start at about 11.000 rupees.

The Rock is situated in a boutique hotel and a spa, right next to the Beas River, on the Kullu Manali Highway, just before Manali.
